More sprite work ...

Here are more sprite pages from the project I am working on. A lot of animals, birds, and other sprite tasks ...and I am just about finished with the project. The crab is probably the smallest creature from the entire set.

This is a new character concept that I am working.



And here is a fun sketch I created almost a year ago ...I thought it was time to wipe off the dust and finalize it. At this point I am still experimenting with colors.

I was asked if I could create a sprite version of a Transformer character - based on the new movie designs. I only had to do one single frame of it in motion and I chose Bumble Bee.

The client was looking for a second poster for their show. Like the other poster it needed to have a Lichtenstein feel to it.

It has been a long time since I worked on any figure drawings. This is a skill I intend to keep working on more regularly.

I just completed some new promotional art for a client. Another Lichtenstein inspired piece.

I just finished working on a client's music CD. He wanted a cover and back design that was inspired by the work of Roy Lichtenstein. After a few conceptual/feedback stages, this was the final result.

Frankenparts Wins First Place

My animated short Frankenparts was entered in the Toon Life Online Animation of the Month Contest. I was happy to hear that it came in first place. 4th place in Aniboom, now 1st at Toon Life. Feels pretty good and it encourages me to keep on animating!

New Concept Art

I have been working on a number of environmental designs. Here is a basic one of an adobe house ruin. All that remains is the doorway and a small portion of the mud brick walls. I am currently creating a 3D version of this concept.

I Got 4th Place in Aniboom Competition

Well the Aniboom competition is over and the results are in. I was ranked #4 and made it into the top 50 category.
